STAMFORD – On Saturday, Sept. 30, the Stamford Community Church will sponsor its 9th Annual Fall Bazaar from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The event, which will take place both in the church and the outdoor pavilion, rain or shine, is open to the wider community and designed to be a fun-filled day of family-oriented activities, including children’s games and the popular Corn Hole with prizes.
There will be a silent auction, a Chinese auction for both adults and kids, a 50/50 raffle, as well as many items and gift certificates from local merchants and businesses. This year’s bazaar will also feature a handmade quilt raffle.
Baked goods for sale include homemade pies, cookies and breads as well as jams, pickles and relishes. Hot lunch refreshments of soups, hot dogs, and sausage grinders will be available as well.
The Stamford Community Church is at 1059 Main Road (Route 8), a mile north of the Clarksburg, MA/Vermont line. There is plenty of parking. Further information may be obtained by calling 802-694-1533.
